The Poulsbo Sons of Norway’s annual sweetheart Viking bonfire celebration marks renewal, the changing of the seasons, and love. A celebration attributed to Odin’s youngest son, Vali, seen as a symbol of hope and renewal, the roaring fire offers all present - Vikings and visitors - a time to look into the flames, see the embers rise, pause in their lives to reflect and appreciate their sweethearts, and feel the warmth of the glowing fire.
