Bremerton is a beautiful city and a scenic one-hour auto ferry or a 35-minute crossing via passenger-only Fast Ferry crossing from Seattle, making it Kitsap County’s biggest city and also the most popular with commuters.
Bremerton's downtown Harborside area boasts the Kitsap Conference Center, two hotels, fine dining, coffee shops, cafes, outdoor sculptures, and water features. The Port of Bremerton Marina has 220 permanent slips and 100 slips for visiting boaters. You can enjoy a stroll through the Arts District, Puget Sound Navy Museum, or climb aboard the historic USS Turner Joy, accessed via the waterfront boardwalk. Harborside Fountain Park features large water features that dramatically spout water out of the top, a popular place for youngsters in the summer heat.

First Friday Art Walk

A vibrant blend of art, live music, food, and drinks in not one but THREE Bremerton neighborhoods: Manette, Downtown, and Callow Ave - from 5-8p on the First Friday of each month.
Food truck Friday’s
{Year-round}
Quincy Square transforms into a pop-up food truck site between 3-8pm on Fridays! Between April and October, every Friday is ‘Food Truck Friday,’ and during the autumn/winter months, pop-ups correspond with Downtown Bremerton’s First Friday Art Walk.
Live music in the Square
{summer}
Music is at the heart of Quincy Square! Host to a variety of events and community activations (like the Bremerton Fan Zone 2026!), Quincy Square will host live music every Monday from mid-July through mid-August in 2026.
Movies in the Square
{summer}
Thanks to the efforts of the team organizing the Bremerton Fan Zone in 2026 (here’s to you, Downtown Bremerton Association!), Quincy Square will host 5 outdoor, family-friendly movies on Thursday evenings, between mid-July and mid-August.
Bremerton Night Market
{spring/summer}
During the late spring and summer months (May-Oct), First Friday expands to include a night market on the waterfront boardwalk near the ferry terminals, and is filled with local vendors, food trucks, live music, and more!
Bremerton Farmers Market
{spring/summer}
The Bremerton Farmers Market is open every Thursday from 4-7pm, May-October.
Manette Summer Concert Series

With sweeping views of the Bremerton waterfront as your backdrop, a grassy-knolled pocket park in the neighborhood of Manette serves as the stage for ‘Music in Manette’, a free annual concert line-up of local bands as you watch the ferries sail about in Sinclair Inlet and the sun set across the Olympic Mountains.

MANETTE
Manette has the best little foodie scene on the Kitsap Peninsula. A small community in Bremerton with a BIG personality. Unique and quirky, it’s not like any other place in Kitsap. Amazing views of Port Orchard Bay and Port Washington Narrows flank you on all sides inside every business and on every street corner. If that wasn’t enough it gradually becomes more magical the steeper north you climb eventually laying way to an entire view of Bremerton and both the Manette and Warren Ave bridges.
Callow Ave
Callow Ave is a storied stretch of Bremerton that has long been home to indie shops, restaurants, and a multitude of other businesses over its history. Recently, Callow has been experiencing a renaissance. Explore Callow Ave during the First Friday Arts Walk and visit newer businesses, such as Rimbert Illustration, Cafe Corvo, and Burrito Bar (4am burritos?!), alongside foundational brands like McGavin's Bakery, Discordia Games, La Poblanita Mexican Restaurant, and The Charleston that have kept the torch burning for several decades.

The Admiral Theatre, a historic movie house built in 1942, hosts movies, live theatre, events, concerts, conferences, and more.
evergreen pizza

Nestled next to Evergreen Park and just a stone’s throw from the water, Evergreen Pizza is a slice of paradise in Bremerton! With a full bar and tap with delicious sides and salads, this low-key but legit delicious pizza spot is a local fave.
Eat in or grab a pie slice or two and picnic in the park across the street. Bonus points for the gelato shop, Sapling, on the bottom floor!
el balcon

El Balcon is something special - a family-owned Salvadorian & Mexican restaurant that destroys your craving for street tacos, crispy papusas, carnitas, fried plantains, and so much more.
A small hole in the wall near the corner of 4th + Pacific that is easy to find due to the constant line out the door. With a devoted following, El Balcon is a favorite of locals and visitors coming off the Seattle ferry alike.
mcgavin’s bakery

A Bremerton institution since 1942, McGavin's is known and loved across Kitsap. Their now-famous Pink Champagne cake, which also comes in a single-serving cupcake size, is heaven on a fork. and that is just the tip of the iceberg.
The Boat shed
101 Shore Drive
For over 40 years Boat Shed has been welcoming patrons with fresh northwest seafood, sublime views of the water and the Manette Bridge, and beautiful outdoor dining. The staff is outstanding, and dining on the dock is a warm-weather Kitsap Peninsula tradition. If you're arriving by boat, you can dock out front and walk right up to lunch, dinner, or happy hour on the deck!
USS Turner Joy

The USS Turner Joy is a historic destroyer-class warship originally commissioned in 1959 that now serves as a fascinating floating museum welcoming visitors to explore our Bremerton navy heritage. Moored at the Bremerton Marina, the USS Turner Joy is the perfect attraction for visitors arriving via ferry and is particularly popular on warm sunny days.
evergreen park

Evergreen is a park that has a little of everything and is truly a place where there is something for everyone. Wide expanses of grass to run, play catch, toss a frisbee, picnic, or just relax. A boat launch and water access. Tall evergreen trees offer shade and beauty. A giant playground gives kids something to climb and scamper on. Several covered picnic areas are available to reserve and are perfect for get-togethers. Evergreen is snuggled in a quiet neighborhood on the banks of the water, making this sometimes bustling park always feel peaceful. If you get hungry, Evergreen Pizza Co serves up crazy good pizza across the street, grab some ‘zaw to go, and find your spot on the grass!
elandan gardens
3050 WA-16, Bremerton
Elandan Gardens is a world-renowned bonsai garden, museum, and garden hidden in plain sight on Highway 16 between Port Orchard and Bremerton. Elandan draws visitors from around the world and features bonsai trees that are hundreds of years old in a landscaped garden atmosphere, with sweeping views of Sinclair Inlet, transporting you to another place. Visitors pay $10 to tour the bonsai collection- a small fee to see one of the finest assortments of bonsai on the West Coast.
