VIking Fest

May 15-17th

Viking Parade, carnival, street fair, music, strongman contest, road race, and a pancake breakfast make Viking Fest an iconic Kitsap Peninsula spring tradition.

Don’t you dare miss the Viking Parade!

One of the highlights of the festival is the iconic Viking Parade. The parade starts at 2:00pm on the Saturday of Viking Fest.

The Viking Parade begins on 6th & Fjord and ends at Martha & Mary on Front Street. The best viewing is along Fjord Drive and Front Street. Be sure to get there early to grab a good spot, especially downtown as it can get quite crowded.

Pirate Festival

June 6th

Get ready for Kingston’s fun and family-friendly festival, coming to Mike Wallace Park on June 6th, 2026.

Pirates and their pals will arrive at North Kitsap’s waterfront city of Kingston on the first Saturday of June, kicking off the summer festival season with flair! The Puget Sound Pirates will be on hand, setting the mood, galavanting around Kingston, and being generally jovial, along with over 40+ vendors, live music, and family activities! Kids will love the bouncy houses and a treasure hunt, and a rum & beer garden for the adults will be a welcome spot to rest and relax!

Mosquito Fleet Fest

May 23-24

The Mosquito Fleet was the name of a vast array of steamships that ferried people and goods around the Kitsap Peninsula before the advent of automobiles in the late 1800s to the 1920s. At this time, maritime vessels, like steamers, tall ships, and canoes, were the only reliable way to stay connected to other communities and the outside world. To celebrate this unique heritage, the Port Orchard Bay Street Merchants Association is hosting the 3rd Annual Mosquito Fleet Fest!
