Port Orchard + Bremerton Summer Night Markets
The port of bremerton sponsors two popular south kitsap night markets at the port orchard marina + bremerton marina…
Port Orchard Night Market - photos provided by PO Night Market
Kitsap is blessed with many community farmers’ markets and opportunities to enjoy local makers, crafters, brands, and businesses…two amazing opportunities in South Kitsap are the Port Orchard Night Market and the Bremerton Boardwalk Night Market.
The Port of Bremerton sponsors both markets, and they take place at the Port Orchard Marina + Bremerton Marina, which are managed and stewarded by the Port of Bremerton. We are very grateful for the Port's work and the market coordinators and vendors who make these special community events happen!
Port Orchard Night Market
June 20th, July 11th, August 22nd, September 12th
6-10pM
Just feet from the Sinclair Inlet shoreline and the Foot Ferry dock, the Port Orchard Night Market hosts a wide collection of vendors and brands from around the region. Locals love to wander the Market and connect to local businesses on Bay Street such as Josephine’s Mercantile and Crows Curiosities. Bay Street restaurants are also popular during Night Market events, with spots like Peninsula Bevco. + Carter & Co. offering outdoor and patio seating. The PO Night Market is a great way to connect to the SK community and enjoy the warm summer evenings in Port Orchard!
Arriving via Bremerton/Port Orchard Foot Ferry
Bremerton and Port Orchard are conveniently connected via a 10-minute passenger ferry ride that runs daily. On the Bremerton side, the foot ferry leaves on the 15 and 45, and on the Port Orchard side, the foot ferry leaves on the hour and the 30. The ride is short but very pleasant as you traverse Sinclair Inlet between the two cities. If you’re lucky, you’ll ride the 108-year-old historic Carlisle II Mosquito Fleet era ferry, lovingly referred to as a ‘floating museum’. From the foot ferry, it is a short walk to the waterfront shops, cafes & restaurants.
HELPFUL INFO:
Fare is cash only, $2 per person each way.
