Whether you reach it by land or sea, Illahee State Park is an amazing place to be. Camp year-round and enjoy the verdant hiking trails, fishing and shellfishing or a paddle around the bay. Military enthusiasts can take in Illahee’s memorial featuring two large naval guns donated from the U.S.S. West Virginia.

Boating
The park offers a pier, 356-feet of moorage dock and moorage buoys. Moorage fees are charged year-round for mooring at docks, floats, and buoys from 1 p.m. - 8 a.m. All moorage is first-come, first-served. Moorage stays are limited to three consecutive nights . Boats larger than 45 feet are not permitted to moor at buoys and are required to use docks. There is a one boat and no rafting restriction on all buoys. Daily and annual permits are available for purchase at the park.
The boat ramp is not recommended for trailer use.
Camping
Illahee has year-round camping. All sites are reservable and first-come, first-serve is available if a site is not reserved. The campground has 23 standard sites, one full-hookup site, a dump station and restroom with showers. The campsites can accommodate tents, campers, and RV's depending on size. The maximum campsite length at this park is 40 feet with limited availability.

Day use
The park provides three year-round reservable covered picnic shelters with electricity. Additionally, there is one small covered picnic shelter and 90 unsheltered picnic sites with barbecue braziers nearby that are available for first-come, first served.
Parking and restrooms are available at the boat launch and pier day use area. There is a automated pay station (Parkeon) located in this area.
Fishing and shellfishing
During crabbing and oyster season, the beach is a great spot for harvesting. Fishing and crabbing can be done from the pier.
