If you’re arriving by ferry or by cruise ship you’ll land on the Bremerton waterfront
Board the WSDOT ferry at Colman Dock (Pier 52) in Seattle. The walk on auto ferry (of course you can drive a car on if that’s an option for you) takes 60 minutes to cross.
Or take the Kitsap Transit Fast Ferry. Board the passenger only Fast Ferry, located next to Coleman Dock and the auto ferry, for a faster 30 minute ride to Bremerton.
Your boat will dock right at Bremerton’s revitalized waterfront, steps from Harborside Fountain Park, the board walk, shopping and food options.

Start or end your walking adventure at Harborside Fountain Park
This iconic public plaza is directly next to the Bremerton ferry terminal, making it the perfect first or last stop. This park is a whimsical oasis of towering copper-ring fountains that spout water high into the air at regular interval, especially popular with kids and families during the warm summer months. Walk the lush landscaped walkways, enjoy the bench seating and enjoy the numerous stone sculptures that double as a playground. Harborside is a calm, scenic introduction to Bremerton’s waterside beauty!

Step onto the waterfront boardwalk for sweeping boardwalk views that stretch east to the marina—perfect for selfie backdrops of moored boats and Naval vessels. The boardwalk has a public restroom if you need to go and plenty of places to sit and relax. The boardwalk is also the venue for numerous community events featuring local markets, live music and food trucks.
The USS Turner Joy is a preserved naval destroyer and floating museum docked on the end of the Bremerton boardwalk. Visitors can explore the ship’s interior & exterior for a unique hands-on experience of life aboard a Cold War era ship. The USS Turner Joy offers a fascinating stop for history buffs & families.
Next to the Harborside Fountain Park, the Puget Sound Navy Museum offers a look into the rich maritime and naval heritage of the Pacific Northwest, with exhibits spanning from the early days of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard to modern naval innovations. Interactive displays and interesting artifacts make it a super engaging stop for visitors of all ages, and (bonus!) admission is always free!

If you need some quick supplies for your Bremerton waterfront park walking tour stop by the Marina Square Market and grab some snacks, drinks and even a PNW souvenir! Evergreen Rotary Park
Just 1 mile east from the ferry terminal & marina is Evergreen Rotary Park - a grassy expanse with beach access, a big kids playground, boat ramp, several picnic shelters and a seasonal farmers market on Thursdays.
